Miss Chloe

Seniors Years 13,14,15,16 Teacher

Hi, I’m Chloe Lenehan, 21 years old, and my Physie journey started when I was 7. Physie has always been my passion, and it’s been a huge part of my life even beyond my teen years. Some of my proudest achievements include placing 5th at nationals in the 14-year age group, and being a national finalist for BJP 11 times and APDA twice!

What I love most about Physie is the sense of working towards a goal and the lifelong friendships it’s given me. It’s not just about dancing—it’s about growing as a person and watching others do the same. Physie is a lifelong passion, and I’m so excited to continue this journey!

Hi, I’m Katelyn, 29 years old, and I’ve been doing Physie for 27 years, both with BJP and APDA. I’ve had the privilege of teaching APDA for 7 years, working with all ages from Tiny Tots to Ladies!

By day, I’m a high school teacher of Dance, History, Religion, and Sport, and I’ve spent many years as a choreographer in the professional dance industry.

What I love about APDA is that it offers an amazing platform for dancers of all abilities, and I’m so proud to watch my students grow in their passion and talent. Excited to be teaching again in 2025—let’s go!

Miss Maddie

Hi, I’m Maddie Green, 20 years old, and I’ve been doing Physie for 10 amazing years! Over the past 5 years, I’ve had the privilege of being an assistant teacher at my local APDA Port Macquarie club, learning how to bring out the best in students. My proudest moment was being a national finalist in 2023 and dancing among the top 14 at the ICC!
Alongside Physie, I’ve also competed in local eisteddfods and completed my HSC dance course. Plus, I have my first aid certification.
What I love most about APDA is the community and lifelong friendships I’ve made. The supportive environment here makes it feel like one big family, and I can’t wait to carry that spirit forward as a teacher!

Hi I’m Cassidy!
I started physie at 8 years old & was hooked from the first moment I tried it! Physie has become one of the most important parts of my life. I’m originally from Coffs Harbour, beginning my journey at what is now known as Attitude Dance. With the help of my amazing teachers, I was able to compete in National competitions and National team events with some of my best friends. I was offered the amazing opportunity to become an assistant teacher when I was 13, and my passion for teaching grew from there. 6 years later, and in 2024 I stepped up to be an associate teacher who loves not only performing but teaching others that confidence and strength knows no bounds!
Physie is such an incredible sport and community that I hope to share with more people. I am so incredibly excited for this new chapter here in Newcastle as I am moving for uni to study Medical Radiation Science, and I can’t wait to get started with this new team!
